TBLS presents at the Water Asset Finance Conference in Washington DC the preliminary results from its study “Trends in 10K reporting of Environmental and ESG matters of Publicly Traded Water Companies”. The study showed how water company financial reports have evolved between 2015 and 2021 to incorporate both qualitative and quantitative ESG and environmental metrics as response to stricter guidelines that have evolved over the years. Frances Schlosstein, TBLS president and Robin Kelliher, Esq., USI discussed how this trend in reporting of more granular environmental metrics is expected to accelerate as the new Climate SEC rules and the Biden Inflation Reduction Act’s Climate are adopted.
