Deepening Your Team of Sediments & NRD Experts
TBLS’ sediments and Natural Resource Damages Advisory integrates project management and financial risk-management analytics to support cost control and technical excellence. When looking at Sediment and NRD in the United States, the learning cycle has migrated from the West Coast, starting with Commencement Bay, WA in 1980 to East Coast where large sediment remediation is just now becoming commonplace. TBLS experts bring years of experience in project cost control, strategy, value enhancement and project management.
Sediment Remediation
TBLS Sediment Cost Risk Control helps you understand the cost drivers that can double costs of sediment projects. Two of the most important aspects of any sediment project are: 1) Managing moisture content; and 2) minimizing removal quantities.   No one wants to pay for water or excess quantities.  Whether you are building a coffer dam, relocating a river, dredging, or capping sediments risk metrics and cost control measures to manage sediment investigations and remediation are of utmost importance.

Project Management:  TBLS creates value by cost-savings in complex sediment projects using sophisticated software, project scheduling and cost modeling, and mitigation strategies to help you cut costs during sediment remediation project construction, a time when costs often double.  This is why it is very important to have third-party value engineering as part of your project on remediation/restoration design, specifications, bid documents prep and review, bid processing, and construction management.
NRD
