EPA to remove the Manville NJ site from the Superfund list after a successful cleanup. The Manville site involved the cleanup by removing over 450,000 tons of contaminated soils and the cleanup of over 100 residential and commercial properties impacted by the Federal Creosote site which treated railroad ties with creosote. Another example that we are moving in the right direction by cleaning up and delisting sites from Superfund.
